Not surprisingly, dedicated servers come at an increased cost compared to shared or virtual hosting. This is among the most expensive hosting options that you can choose. 

You only need a dedicated server if you have a lot of traffic to your website or need more control over your site than that offered by other hosting options. 

Keep in mind that more control means more responsibility. You’ll need to have someone on your team with a greater level of technical expertise to maintain a website on a dedicated server.

However, like shared hosting, there are some downsides to cloud hosting because you’ll be sharing resources with other systems.
