Based upon SpinBot’s survey, a good number of writers, about 6 in 10 to be precise, feel that soon artificial intelligence could take over their jobs.

This idea is quite popular among writers from Asia and South America, where roughly 2 out of every 3 writers think this way. But writers from places like Australia and the US aren’t as worried. Here, just about half, maybe a little more, believe AI could replace them.

About 46% of writers are worried they might be replaced by AI. Another 42% aren’t sure what AI could mean for their future. However, a small group, about 11%, aren’t worried at all. This shows that a lot of writers are still trying to figure out how AI might change their work.

Writers in Africa and North America, between 61-68% of them, notice more positive effects from AI than writers in Europe do.
